Welcome to the School Store and KIDS Bank page. Here you'll find out information about both services.

The store hours are 8:15 to 8:25 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. KIDS Bank operates on Tuesdays from 8:15 to 8:25. Both are located across the hallway from the library. Items for sale in the store range from $.05 to $1.00 and include supplies as pencils, notebooks, erasers and some novelty items.

We need volunteers to help run the store. Time required is from 8:10 to 8:30. Duties include displaying merchandise, making change, closing up and making sure children find their way to class at 8:25. If you are interested in helping, please contact the school office and they will put you in contact with the PTA. Thanks!

KIDS Bank operates on Tuesday mornings from 8:10 to 8:25 and again in the afternoon. KIDS Bank gives students a great opportunity to learn the value of saving money. It only takes one dollar to open an account, and the minimum deposit is just twenty-five cents. Each student receives a savings passbook to keep track of his or her account. The account earns interest, which is posted quarterly. Students may keep their accounts until they leave school either by "graduating" to 6th grade or moving from KMES. To open an account, just have your child bring in a completed account signature card on any Tuesday morning. Signature cards may be picked up whenever KIDS Bank is open, or in the school office.
