Golding 1st Grade Room 304 Dear Parents, March has come so quickly. There is
about 72 days left of school. March isn’t as busy as February. Here are some
things to look for in March. March 2nd is Dr. Seuss Day Read
Across America March 7th is field trip to
Portsmouth Children’s Museum March 9th Daylight
Savings Time March 24th-28th
is Spring Break In the classroom we will continue to
learn about long vowels and work on writing skills in In Math we will finish up Unit 6 and
start our next unit which is in Geometry and Attributes. In content we will start our Unit on
Animals. Students will get information soon on a project they will do about
an animal. In Social Studies we will finish our Patriotic study and start
Needs and Wants. In health we will finish up Dental Health. Keep reminding your child to work on
neatness and always do their best. As always thank you for your
continued support at home to insure that your child does his/her best. Thanks
