Math: No homework

Wednesday: Reading: Read for 15 min.(record and initial)

Vocabulary: Review all words. Students will be

tested on word recognition on Friday.

Word Study: Making Words: Lesson#27 & 28

Math: 10.1

Thursday: Reading: Read for 15 min.(record and initial)

Vocabulary: Review all words. Students will be

tested on word recognition on Friday.

Word Study: Making Words: Lesson #29 & 30

Math: 10.2

Friday: Have a great weekend!

Review your word study words nightly as you will still take a word study test on Friday.

Important Info….

· Please remember to have your child cut apart the letters in Making Words. This helps them practice manipulating the letters. It is the essences in building good readers and spellers. Some of the children are writing the words without cutting out the letters. I’m not sure how they are coming up with the words. Making Words is a word study skill. Please encourage your child to do this activity the way it is intended to work.

· Also, please continue to review all word wall words. These words need to be reinforced nightly in order for your child to completely feel comfortable with them. Many of the children are beginning to miss words or rely on the word wall board. Thanks for your help in this area.

REMEMBER: no FLIP FLOPS or TANK TOPS are

allowed. (Check dress code in the student

conduct guidelines if you aren’t sure about

something.)
